Bradford National Bank Supports Breese Unified Track & Field State Champions Bank Donates Championship Shirts and Funds for New Team Uniforms
Breese, IL — Bradford National Bank has honored the Breese Central Unified Track & Field team after their recent State Championship win, highlighting the power of inclusion, teamwork, and community spirit. In a celebration held at the school, bank representatives Ian Timmermann, Donna Tebbe, and Laura Diesen presented the team with locally produced State Championship shirts from AVH Vinyl and announced a $500 donation to help purchase new team shirts.
Crystalyn Huegen, speaking on behalf of the Unified program, expressed heartfelt gratitude: “Thank you so much for recognizing our State Championship win. It’s truly an honor to have the support of Bradford Bank. Your encouragement means a great deal to our athletes and our entire school community.”
The Unified program has shown remarkable growth over the past few years, starting with the R-Word Campaign and Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge. Successes now include Unified E-sports and the recently launched Unified Track & Field team, which claimed a State title in only its second season. Looking ahead, the school plans to expand inclusive opportunities further by introducing Unified Dance and Unified Basketball, with fundraising underway for uniforms and equipment.
“It isn’t always easy getting new programs up and running,” Huegen added. “We’re so grateful for recognizing our team’s hard work and the power of inclusion. Thank you again for helping us keep the momentum going.”
Bradford National Bank’s Randy Alderman also praised the team, stating, “It’s an honor to recognize and support the Breese Unified Track and Field team. We salute their commitment to excellence, teamwork, and inclusion.”
