Bradford National Bank Recognizes Employees
(Greenville) Bradford National Bank recognized several employees at its 17th annual employee appreciation dinner. This year’s celebration was held at Cunetto’s Restaurant in Greenville.
During the program, President Frank Joy commended the bank employees for their efforts during the past year by saying, “In spite of the continuing downturn in the financial industry, Bradford National Bank had a successful year in 2009 because of your outstanding efforts to serve our clients. Due to your efforts, we were able to meet the many challenges presented during the year and finish with increases in both total deposits and total loans.”
Joy also recognized several milestones for Bradford National Bank. In 2009, the bank celebrated its 142nd anniversary and the 20th anniversary of the Greenville Branch located on Idler Lane. Additionally, in 2010, the bank will celebrate the 100th anniversary of becoming a national bank, receiving its national charter in June 1910, changing its name at that time from Bradford and Sons Bank to The Bradford National Bank. 2010 will also be the 10 year anniversary of the opening of the Bradford Community Building on North First Street in Greenville.
Eleven employees were recognized for years of service. They include:
45 Years: Frances Mollett, who serves as the internal auditor for Bradford National Bank.
40 Years: Judy Schneck, who serves as the senior services officer and administrator for the Bradford Travel Club.
30 Years: Pennie Slatton, assistant vice president and mortgage and consumer lending officer.
25 Years: James C. Keaster, senior vice president and cashier.
20 Years: Penny Wait, lending secretary.
15 Years: Randy Alderman, assistant vice president and community relations director; Amy Cox, lending secretary.
5 Years: Mike Ennen, assistant vice president and credit analyst; Jace Keaster, assistant cashier; Jill Litteken, teller, Marine branch; and Cathy Stewart, assistant branch manager, Marine.
